Is the app really open source?
Yes. The full source code is on GitHub at github.com/nkuppan/expensemanager, written entirely in Kotlin with Jetpack Compose. You can read it, fork it, contribute to it, or use it to learn modern Android development.
Does it work offline?
Fully offline-first. All your data is stored locally on your device using Room/SQLite. No internet connection is required to log transactions, view charts, or manage budgets.
How many currencies are supported?
The app supports 150+ global currencies. You can set your default currency in settings and switch at any time.
Can I have multiple accounts?
Yes. You can create unlimited accounts — bank accounts, cash wallets, credit cards — and track each one separately or view them together.
Is my financial data private?
Your data never leaves your device. There are no servers, no cloud sync, and no analytics tracking. The open-source code is publicly verifiable proof of this, and you can additionally lock the app behind biometrics.
